First of all for those listeners in the United States - Happy Thanksgiving!
In terms of health and fitness, the holidays are generally the low point. It's the time when we 'forget' about training and nutrition and spend time with family...usually eating a lot. New Years typically becomes the time when we think we need to get back to the gym.
So, today, in this episode, I'm going over the basics of nutrition - which isn't DIET. That's become a negative word and really just means what you eat. Nutrition isn't just the what, it's also how and why.
I've learned a lot over the years, so I hope that this 2 part cast helps you get started or be reminded of the value of nutrition in your lifestyle. There are no bad foods, but there are foods that can serve you better and provide you with things you need.
The focus of this and the next cast is on ENERGY. One thing you absolutely need to take on Cosplay as a hobby or go beyond that. Listen in, and let's see if I can provide you with some insight into the fit between Nutrition and Cosplay.
