In part two of this series, I'm telling you about the basics of fitness.
Fitness is everywhere. You can't scroll without noticing, it's on YouTube, streaming, cable, radio, and all places in-between. There are online programs, at-home programs, apps, trainers, and thousands of choices.
This cast is all about keeping it simple, because you're a Cosplayer and you have enough stress as it is. How do you balance all of it?
Simply put, programs I've tried (AthleanX, Active8Me, Fitness Blender to name a few) all work while you're doing them if you follow them completely. Fitness is very tough to combine with nutrition and stick with. I've been on and off with both for 20 years! I do not consider myself fit, but I have a lot of understanding on the subject having been a Personal Training and Martial Arts Coach for many years.
The Cast intends to give you some simple tips on Fitness which you will hopefully take with you and use. Cosplay is for everyone, so this isn't a necessity, but for me and I would say many others out there - it's not about the vanity metrics so much as it is having enough energy to be present for others and bring the best version of yourself to the show that you can every time. Fitness and Nutrition help tremendously with that and I hope that this gives you a reminder or place to start in your journey with both Cosplay and Fitness.
