Making Podcasts are easy, and so in being a guest on a Podcast. A 20-minute cast with a couple of pitches, intro, outro, and a few questions with conversation is almost done for you.
If you are a guest on a show: Make sure the show is a good fit for you and it helps to have something to talk about – your work and thoughts on a subject being the biggest reason for being on a show.
Have the documentation you need – narrow down your scope, have notes, create content and open other doors. And no matter the offer - be sure it's right for you.
If you are a host: don't be afraid to go it alone, and you never know unless you ask. Hearing "no" is tough, but I have had many Cosplay guests on the show and I try to be as prepared as possible for each of them. The more prepared the better. I try to go as deep as I can for questions, to understand their Cosplay, their current work, and their achievements. I do that because I want to know and I want to share their stories with the listeners and viewers of the Cast. But remember - solo episodes nor guests make or break your show. Do it for you.
