Today, I want to focus on DUNE again, but the video games this time. I spend a lot of time as a kid playing Dune II and Dune 2000 on my computer and it took up a lot of my weekends. I'm going to explain what I liked about the games, and how they were unique and set the stage for a lot of downloadable games that are popular today.
Of course, I do talk about the original DUNE game, which is based on the 1984 movie in it's look and feel. I didn't play this one as much because Dune II came out so quickly after it's release. It was very different, as I explain.
I'm very excited to see this new Dune movie and I hope they will come up with a few gaming apps or something to follow it up. It had a lot of appear in its time and really was a classic for me, at any rate.
