Tips on Live – I don’t prefer live because things can go south fast – there are ways to control this but with everything there are technical difficulties, signal loss, things come up, and there can be curve balls – it’s a type of performance
Be prepared – and practice.
I’ve been recording for a while, and even if I have improved (which makes me more efficient) I’m still not great live
You can still record a live cast and edit it later – it’s not always gone, but the editing may be more limited with a live cast because there’s not much you can do to start and stop – however if you’re not editing anyway
There’s not a lot to live – your phone makes it easy. Streaming gaming is a little more challenging, but usually when you do want to record and edit – the streaming part is easier through a gaming system.
One of my Online Mentors, Roberto Blake, does a great job of keeping Podcasts and Videos to one take. I also suggest you check into his YouTube channel to learn more about editing, being a creator, and getting into YouTube.
