Impostor Syndrome is a real thing and it prevents many of us from ever doing anything with our passions because we do not feel it's good enough or could be "better" than what someone else is doing. We feel like frauds if we try to make money with something we know how to do.
If you've been a Cosplayer for 10 days or 10 years and you want to get started and make some money with your hobby or your passion (just for fun or all-in), listen to this episode about one of the biggest issues you may face when you start putting yourself out there.
It's easy to tell yourself that it just isn't good enough, but I want to encourage you to follow a few easy tips and change your mind about comparisons or working inside of a crowded industry like Cosplay. It can be challenging, knowing what attitudes are in the industry, but that doesn't mean what people say is right, or correct, or has anything to do with how you will impact the industry.
