Are your Cons a little crunchy? Are you throwing a bunch of stuff together at the last minute and hoping the hot glue sticks? Is it just the stress that gets you through the event?
I hope not. There's a lot that goes into a live even, while trying to keep everything else balanced and going at the same time. We're just normal people, so time is everything.
I have a few tips for avoiding Con Crunch that work for me - though my stress in getting ready for a show came from the 19 shows I put on over the years, the many demos I performed, and classes I taught. You suit up, and you have to be on and accountable for others. But one thing you don't want is panic right before you do it.
This is some advice for you on how to prep and avoid the stress of what's supposed to be an enjoyable hobby.
