In this episode, we're talking about the X-Men Inferno Saga and how we've worked to adapt a version of Chris Claremont's work into a Cosplay tribute trailer video.
In short, it’s not going to be cannon. But it will tell the story and we want to be true to the story itself.
Characters – We omitted quite a few – because there are so many in Inferno. It’s a crossover event, so there are X-men, X-Factor, New Mutants, and the X-terminators, which…I’m ok leaving out. I also will talk through some of the highlights of the saga in coming episodes, but I left the characters in the hands of the cosplayers creating them – we’ve got voice overs and it’s what we thought would be true to the project, not necessarily what the writers had in mind – this is all not for profit – we just wanted to do it – I get nothing for it – they get nothing for it – and it’s all copywrite material – we’re showcasing it to applaud the work, not copy it and say it’s an original work – it’s not – the cosplays are creations, but the story and everything about it is not – it’s inspired work.
