When you get on camera, who are you? Are you the way you are all the time, or are you developing a persona?
Does getting in front of an audience actually allow you to be more of who you want to be – which is also not necessarily who you are.
Inauthentic usually means pandering to likes, follows, and asking for people to send you money for existing - which is not something that we care for on the show
Offering a skill, a service, or a product – that doesn’t make anything genuine, it’s sales and marketing
Being genuine means delivering. You deliver value in the form of your truth. Whatever that may be – and it’s hard for the onlooker in the audience to know if it’s really you or just the you that you become when you’re in Cosplay.
