Say Hi
The Lord has laid upon us a vital ministry till He comes back to take us home. In John 21:15ff, Jesus entrusted the task of feeding His lambs, tending His sheep and feeding His sheep to us. We cannot do anything less if we are to show our obedience to our Lord and Saviour. Also in Matthew 28:18-20, the great commission makes us to realize that we must make disciples for Christ in all the world and His presence is promised us till the end of the age. Acts 1:8 likewise promised us the power needed for this great task and the Spirit of God is still with His church. We are to preach till Jesus comes back to take us or calls us home because of the following reasons:1.Many people are still without Christ in our world. We must continue to persuade them until the rapture takes place just like Noah did until the flood came and repentance was too late.2.Some are in the church but they are not truly saved. These are the lambs that must be fed to maturity. We must continue to disciple them.3.We are all human and have the tendency to forget simple instructions. We need to be reminded often and encouraged to follow on because it is those who are faithful to the end that will be saved.4.The life that we are given is not for pleasure but for God’s purpose to be fulfilled. So, remember that our lives are gifts from God and how we serve God with that life is our gift to God.Keep on preaching the word my brethren.
