We're back and we're cartoons! While we aren't committing to weekly releases, we're planning on getting a couple of episodes out every month! This week we're talking about the 2 part film adaptation of Wicked! Our thoughts on the films, our overall love of Oz since a young age, and whether we think the movie is better than the stage show.
"Wicked" and "Wicked: For Good" are Directed by Jon M. Chu, Composed by John Powell and Stephen Schwartz, Produced by Marc Platt and David Stone with Screenplay by Winnie Holzman and Dana Fox based on both "Wicked" by Stephen Schawartz and the novel "Wicked" by Gregory Maguire. The films star Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba Thropp and Ariana Grande as Glinda Upland, with Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater, Bowen Yang, Peter Dinklage, Michelle Yeoh, and Jeff Goldblum.
