The Word of God is the words of Christ to redeem and save, love of nurture the souls of sinners.
As we complete John 5, we hear Jesus preach to our sinful hearts to speak of the need for freedom and life in him. How do we shut him out? How do we seek glory in so many other ways but only in Jesus? How do we set aside the work of Christ for our own glory and prestige?
