When Jesus set about to accomplish His Father’s mission, He could have done it in any number of ways, but He chose to do His work through ordinary people. Men and women who were flawed and weak and often ignorant. He sent His disciples out two by two, and later told them to “go into all the world.” This small band of brothers grew and grew and within one generation, the mighty Roman Empire was being impacted by Jesus’ followers. God has and will accomplish global transformation through the faithfulness of groups of people who are fully devoted to Him.
