Description

Following Jesus is not just one decision. It is a lifetime of choosing to keep walking with Him.

Rahab's faith began when she welcomed the Israelite spies in Joshua 2, but that was only her first step. When the walls of Jericho fell, Rahab had to trust God's promise, gather her family, leave behind the life she had known, and become part of the people of God.

In this sermon from Joshua 6:22-23, Pastor Jason Barnett explores what Rahab's story teaches us about Christian discipleship, spiritual growth, obedience, and continuing to follow Jesus after our first step of faith.

Maybe you have decided to follow Jesus but still have a lot to learn. Maybe your faith has grown stagnant and you know God is calling you forward. Or maybe you have followed Jesus for years and are discovering that He is asking for another yes.

Faith is more than a momentary decision. It is an aligning of our lives with Jesus, one decision at a time.

Rahab started as a broken woman in Jericho. She ended up part of the people of God and eventually in the family line of Jesus.

Your first yes to Jesus matters. But it was never meant to be your last.
