Sometimes we think we know what is going on, but Jesus might give a diferent answer. The Scribes tried to trap Jesus, but instead they went away with questions. Jesus obviously knew the Torah better than the Scribes. We are not condemned by Jesus, but forgiven - just like the woman who met Jesus in John 7:53-8:11.
