As a church, Canopy celebrated Orphan Sunday on November 11th. We jumped into Romans and Deuteronomy, where we were reminded that God "defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing." Josh and Heather Harrison shared their personal journey with adoption, and a couple from Canopy shared their journey as well. As a church, we want to empower others to care for the fatherless, just like our Father cares for us.
