From our Exodus series. In Exodus 7-8 we read about the various plagues sent by God to the land of Egypt. From first read, one might wonder what these plagues of frogs, locusts, and blood have to do with the Israelites freedom. However, we discover each of these plagues is a display of Yahweh's power to show the Egyptians the Almighty God. In what areas of our life are we potentially settling for less and missing out on all that God has to offer? And what if the journey through Lent stirs up a hunger within us that leads us to true freedom?
