This Sunday, we concluded our The Gospel According To…sermon series with a discussion about the Day of Atonement. We learned how the two sacrificial goats that provided cleansing and redemption for the people of Israel both pointed to Jesus and what he did on the cross for us. Jesus so loves us that he himself became the means of atonement for us.
