As disciples of Jesus, we've made a commitment to follow Jesus, to walk like He walked, talk like He talked and to see people, situations and circumstances from His perspective. The bible even tells us, as disciples, we are to have the mind of Christ.
According to The Bible Exposition Commentary,Having the mind of Christ means we “look at life from our Savior’s point of view, having His values and desires in mind. It means to think God’s thoughts and not think as the world thinks.”
It's in growing in a knowledge of Jesus that we come to a deeper revelation of understanding our need for Him.
