The promises of God are the source of God's provisions and those provisions are the means by which we've made it through 2019. However, as we prepare to go into 2020, Christians need to be mindful that compromise and complacency are the major hindrances which prevent Christians from walking in God's exceedingly great and precious promises. Compromise is actually the word "promise" preceded by the prefix "com"which means together with or associated with. Adding anything to the promises of God dilutes the promise and in turn becomes compromise.
