"His authority to forgive sins doesn't come through sitting comfortably on a throne, but by leaving His throne and dying for our sins. This is the Gospel. This is what Jesus is all about. Saying your sins are forgiven is infinitely harder and more impressive than saying rise up and walk. Jesus' authority to forgive sins is more astounding than His ability to heal paralyzed legs. Jesus has the authority to forge sins because He atoned for sins."
