"What does Jesus do in his ministry for 3 years? He celebrates a wedding feast. He goes to funerals and morns the death of His friends. He goes into people's homes to eat with them. And He calls disciples todo what? Go with Him! And when He sends them out, he doesn't send them out alone. He sends them in pairs. Jesus's ministry on earth is saturated with this idea of community. Of 'withness'. Or proximity."
