In this week's sermon, Skyler preaches over Luke 22: 39-46. In the text, we find Jesus and the disciples in the Garden of Gethsemane moments before he is arrested. While in the garden, Jesus is in agonizing over what is going to transpire over the next several hours. However, when we examine the text closely, the actual agony Jesus was experiencing was the Father's cup of wrath. In the sermon, Skyler preaches why Jesus did this, what it meant for him to do it, and what we as Christians should do in response.
