Solomon now turns his observant eye toward man as worshiper, and he didn't like what he saw. This too could be meaningless, event though it is our "above-the-sun" connection. Solomon warns well-meaning worshipers to "stay alert!" In many airports, at the pick-up and drop-off area, you here a non-stop recording: "The white zone is for loading and unloading only. No parking." Solomon is saying: "The pew zone is for learning and listening and growing. No parking." He seems to say there is too much "parking" and not enough growing. Is that true of our worship, whether corporate or individual, at church or in our home?
