"Practice makes progress" "Do the things that make you better"
When following your dreams, striving for perfection is a lot of pressure and not realistic. However, if you focus on making progress, it will not only take the pressure off, but it will also allow you to truly enjoy and embrace this creative journey. There are a ton of people telling you how to follow your dreams. But not many people who share why pursuing passions is important and how much work it can and probably will be. Whether you’re pursuing your creative passions because you want to make a career out of them or you simply need something on the side that you absolutely love to do, pursuing creativity is incredibly important. But how do you do it when you have a full time life!
It is important to get real with yourself regarding what you want to do with your passions. Do you want to turn it into a business? or just let it be your passion? This will very likely dictate the path you take. It is also important to meet yourself where you are at, when you start you will likely not be the best, but consider it the best for the skills you have now. The more skills you acquire, the more your work will progress. If you are ready to receive tons of useful knowledge and get inspired, this is the episode for you!
