When you hear the word "holiness," what do you think of? Most people think of a lifestyle that restricts them FROM doing things that are bad. Holiness is so much more. There are three parts to Happy Holiness:
(1) Saying NO to sin. The key to that is to realize we cannot do that in our own power, but must ask the Holy Spirit to help us seek holiness.
(2) Saying YES to God. Seek His will for our lives. Realize that we are set apart for God and for His purpose in our lives.
(3) God makes us holy. He is the source.
Without holiness, we lose our:
(a) potential, (b) influence, (c) motivation, (d) power, (e) peace, and (f) freedom.
