On today’s episode, we’ll be talking to Nick & Linsey Minnella from Vegvisits.com. Nick and Linsey are a married couple who were until 2016, young professionals working in Wall Street. They decided to quit their job and travel across the US staying at AirBnBs. They decided that while traveling and staying in AirBnBs was kinda cool, wouldn’t it be better if people you stay with could be vegan and likewise, if you wanted to be a host, you could know that your customers staying in your house are vegan. That idea became reality in 2017 with the release of Vegvisits. An Airbnb equivalent for vegans.

Vegvisits is a website where you can find some incredibly unique accommodation there.

I had a look through the website and found a couple of places that you should check out.

One I loved was a lovely stone off-grid cottage deep in the French countryside surrounded by woodland and wildflowers and then there was the homestay with a local vegetarian family in Arusha in Tanzania (right next to where you start climbing Kilimanjaro), a stunning all-vegan mountain lodge in the mountains of Austria and finally some lovely rooms over a yoga studio and macrobiotic restaurant in Hoi An, Vietnam.

I really hope you will check out Vegvisits. When you book with Vegvisits, you are having an experience similar to AirBnB, but you are supporting a vegan business and your money will be going to vegans who won’t be spending much of their income on animal products.
