Geza de Kaplany, also known notoriously as “The Acid Doctor,” was a Hungarian doctor who immigrated to the United States in the 1950’s. In 1962, Geza met and quickly fell in love with a fellow Hungarian immigrant, Hajna Piller, who was a model and dancer. After only being married for a couple of months, Geza heard a rumor about his new wife that angered him, causing him to mutilate her and kill her in their San Jose California apartment.
