There are many things in life that can give us joy but nothing compares with being forgiven, and even better, when that forgiveness comes from God.
We have joy from forgiveness because our sins have been forgotten by God. Jesus died for us and made the payment for our sins through His shed blood so God has no reason to hold our sins against us and for that, we have joy. Blessed are the forgiven!
