What's so great about being obedient to God? That is a good question. The answer is, obedience is not for God's sake but for ours. Just like the farmer is rewarded with an abundant harvest for his diligence on the farm, so the believer is also rewarded for his or her diligence for their obedience to
Christ. The key is to see obedience, not as an inconvenience but as an honor, even a lifestyle. That will make all the difference and you may well hear, "Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of the Master."
