I wonder how many people really understand the freedom that Jesus Christ died in order to give us. The freedom we have in Christ actually makes us a slave. think about that. It is not a freedom which allows us to any and all that we want, though we do have that choice.
Rather, it is a freedom that makes us free in God and to God. It also includes serving one another.
The guardrails on the highway keep us safe and make us free to drive, as long as we stay within those guardrails. But if we cross over, we find danger and may be even destruction.
So it is with God's freedom. As long as we stay within His boundaries, we can enjoy real freedom. But outside of His boundaries there is danger.
Listen carefully to be sure you have the right understanding of freedom.
