John wraps up his first epistle with three aspects of the Christian life that make it real. These qualities begin in Christ and are transferred to the believer. Each one plays a major role in the life of the Christ-follower.
Anyone would do well to learn and abide in them.
By the way, they also testify of the reality that Jesus Christ really came.
