Jesus told a parable about a wayward son. We know him as the Prodigal Son. But the real star of the show was his loving father.
Why did Jesus tell this story? Because He wanted people to know the love of God the Father. It is a love of forgiveness, acceptance and restoration.
This is how we are to know God.
