295 [PM 135] Coping While Cooped
We look at our next part of the Eightfold Path tonight, which is Wise Action. There are 5 precepts involved in this idea. My short summary would be as follows
1) Don't murder anyone else or commit suicide
2) Don't steal
3) Don't use sex inappropriately
4) Don't lie
5) Don't be intoxiticating
They frame these as setting the intention to not participate in these behaviors instead of sounding as restricted as I just did. As gambling addicts, we have probably done one or more of these things in our active addiction.
