Acts 2:14-41
Peter Addresses the Crowd

Pivotal in New Testament teaching.
Why? 

• Partly because God used one man who was initially chosen….  
• once ran in fear and denied Jesus. 
• stood up. 
• Spoke boldly. 
• Within minutes he captivates his audience with some compelling words.

  Simon Peter, also known as Cephas – “Peter the Rock” (John 1:42), 
• He was one of the first followers of Jesus Christ. 
• He was an outspoken and ardent disciple, 
• one of Jesus’ closest friends, 
• an apostle, and
• Paul writes that he was a “pillar” of the church (Galatians 2:9). 
• Peter was enthusiastic, strong-willed, impulsive, and, at times, brash. 
• He was a fisherman, 
• a husband, 
• and brother of Andrew

PETER HAD CHARISMA

Or Cambridge Dictionary
“a special power that people have naturally that makes them able to influence other people and attract their attention and 
admiration”
