Chris Zeelie continues with the theme of seeking the kingdom of God and the rewards of fasting. According to the bible, Jesus expects us to fast and God rewards those that diligently seek him. Some verses that are referenced (Phil 3:18) (Matt 6:16-19) (Heb 11:6) (John 15:1-2)
Purposes of fasting:
1. Deny Yourself
2. Submit yourself to God
3. Prioritize Jesus
