We sing O Little Town of Bethlehem most of the time with this notion that everything was "still." The somehow the "deep and dreamless sleep" was the reality for the people there, when it was actually a local center for commerce. There was plenty of hustle. There was plenty of rush.
The beauty of revelation came to some men who were outcasts. They were "outside the rush." Why would angels declare the birth of the rescuer of Israel to outcasts?
This is week's sermon is extremely practical as we consider what it might look like to discover your personal moments outside of the rush of life.
