The scripture that we study is over 2,000 years old, and we often find ourselves either confused or glossing over references to ancient ideas or practices. This week, Pastor Brian tackles a topic that makes everyone a little uncomfortable, circumcision. It's mentioned a LOT in our Holy Scriptures, and many of us would have a hard time explaining why. This explanation also led us to talk about the mission-critical topic of baptism. Both are distinctives, both are metaphors and both are important enough to merit some serious explanations.
