Psalm 127:3 Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.
1 Thessalonians 5:11 ESV / Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
2. Accept your differences and present a united front.
Colossians 3:13 “bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.”
3. Don’t compete to be the best parent or overcompensate for the other parent.
Philippians 2:3-4 ESV / Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.
2 Timothy 2:5 ESV / An athlete is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules.
4. Don’t collude with your children.

trouble and a babbling fool will come to ruin.
5. Set time aside to talk about how your strategies are working
Proverbs 21:5 The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty.
