The crowd joined in the attack against Paul and Silas, and the magistrates ordered them to be stripped and beaten with rods. After they had been severely flogged, they were thrown into prison, and the jailer was commanded to guard them carefully. When he received these orders, he put them in the inner cell and fastened their feet in the stocks. Acts 16:22-24
FIND THE PURPOSE IN MY PAIN.
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds,because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. James 1:2-4
You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people. Genesis 50:20 NLT
MY PAIN IS A JAIL THAT IMPRISONS ME OR A SCHOOL THAT EMPOWERS ME.
STOP RUNNING FROM GOD AND RUN TO GOD.
Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Isaiah 55:6 NIV
WHEN SOMETHING IS HAPPENING TO ME, GOD WANT TO REVEAL HIMSELF IN ME.
You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13 NIV
TAKE THE STEPS TO GROW.
Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment, now that you have had a taste of the Lord’s kindness. 1 Peter 2:2-3 NLT
ALLOW GOD TO USE WHAT I’VE BEEN THROUGH TO HELP OTHERS.
All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 NLT
