We are to be mission focused.
We look so much inward that we can’t get anything done.
It is not about you.
Look Outward not inward
To go and make disciples
It’s not the me it’s the we.
Remove the I.
We think about what makes me comfortable.
Communal faith
When is the last time I intentionally looked outward?
Your own mission that God called you to.
We wait on the church to schedule something to serve. But we are called to it every single day.
We don’t wait for them to come to us. He gives us the opportunities every single day.
Jesus went low.
We want Jesus along but we don’t want him leading us.
Jesus didn’t care their status.
Take the blinders off
Excuses: your Momma raised you better than that.
No Time: priorities
Time block: how are we using our time to reach out?
You make time for what’s important to you.
We don’t know enough. Look at Peter and Paul: they were uneducated and untrained.
Put in the time to know Gods word.
I just can’t afford to do that right now.
People don’t just need stuff—they need an ear. They need our hearts.
Gift of giving
Gift of kindness.
Gentle response
Mission is possible
Matthew 28:18 Go and make disciples.
Do life with people.
Gift of encouragement.
Host a small group.
We are the same family.
Ask questions.
