Welcome to Day 4 of Silence in a Year. The word for today is solitude. Solitude is different than being alone or lonely. Solitude is quiet, peaceful one on one time WITH God. It is important for us to recognize the need to withdraw during times of difficulty to hear the voice of God or to draw into deeper relationship with him by actually placing ourselves in the scriptures.
