Today we continue our survey of God’s “long game” in preparing humanity for His kingdom to come “on earth as it is in heaven.” Our original design is to be in direct contact with the Creator, to walk side by side with Him as in the Garden. In order to restore that level of relationship, both our sin AND our understanding of it (and God and us and…) must be dealt with. God has always had a plan, and patiently works it out over millennia, including now. Just as He revealed Himself to His people in ways they understood in their time and frame of reference, and then took them further down the road with Him, He does the same with us. How is He revealing Himself to you today?
