On this day we complete a series of 7 sermons focused on communion, and the day's communion service includes several themes from the series, including a focus on one another instead of shutting ourselves up in an emotional corner all by ourselves and dwelling on our personal issues. We reinforce the fact that Jesus plays the role of host (as in head of the table, not transubstantiated wafer), and that we are all guests at His banquet.
