The scriptures tell us that it is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Once we were enslaved by sin but now we are free in Christ. This is great news but unfortunately some of the christians in Corinth misunderstood what true freedom looks like. They allowed their understanding of freedom to cause other christians to fall into sin. Today we see a similar thing happening with mantra’s like “speak your truth”, “follow your heart”, or “you be you”. What then does true freedom look like?
