Description

How often are we like the two guys on the Road to Emmaus who are walking and talking with Jesus and have no clue?

Luke 24:25-27
Then he said to them, “So thick-headed! So slow-hearted! Why can’t you simply believe all that the prophets said? Don’t you see that these things had to happen, that the Messiah had to suffer and only then enter into his glory?” Then he started at the beginning, with the Books of Moses, and went on through all the Prophets, pointing out everything in the Scriptures that referred to him.

What hinders our ability to notice when God is speaking to us?
1 - The circuits in our brain have been hindered by pain, grief, anger, trauma, and despair.
2 - We haven't worked to make connections with God and getting to know his voice, mannerisms, and how he communicates.
3 - We forget to take all our thoughts captive, take them before God, and determine if they are from Him or someone else.
