Description

Do you ever wake up in the morning and just need a boost?   Perhaps it may be a few words that will get that internal engine fired up and the brain thinking.  You know, those inspirational quotes that set you in motion and put you in the right frame of mind.    Having spent the last 11 days in the wonderful country of Greece, I was surrounded by so many inspirational sayings from the great Greek Philosophers that I thought I would share 5 of them that may get you to higher levels of growth and productivity.

Remember, my goal with this weekly podcast is to feed you ideas that you may choose to use for your own personal growth and development because it is always my goal and desire that you experience more joy, fulfillment and productivity for all areas of your life.

So let’s get to these and I will give you my two cents on what they mean and how to apply them to your daily life.

1.    "Everything flows, and nothing abides, everything gives way, and nothing stays fixed."—Heraclitus

In other words, change is inevitable.  The more we resist change the more stagnant we become.  It applies to all areas of our business and personal lives.  For example, would you have survived the pandemic of 2020 if you were not willing to learn how to use Zoom, Microsoft Teams or make the adjustment to work from home?  Absolutely not. Or how to be patient as you were making a customer call reservation with an actual agent working from home while listening to the roosters crowing in the background.   Simply put, when we embrace change and become aware of what needs to change, we grow. So learn to embrace change.  Nothing ever stays the same.
