It’s the last day of February and I have to ask one more time…did you love yourself enough this month and did you do something special for yourself during self-care month?
My thought is that you carry a self-care ritual through each month of the year and do something special for yourself every month.
Let’s ask the question of the week. Have you ever looked at someone and said…I really admire and respect that person? What qualities did the person have? What did they do? How did they treat others?
As I reflected on the question, and given that we are approaching Women’s History month in March I thought about the women I have admired in my life. Now I may not have had direct contact with them but I have studied them, and read their biographies.
They all possessed very similar traits and I thought I would share what we can learn from them.
First, is the great Eleanor Roosevelt. The first lady of the United States for who many called the First Lady of The World. Her quotes are famous but this one really resonated with me.
"A woman is like a tea bag; you never know how strong it is until it's in hot water."
Eleanor Roosevelt said her most important task was creating the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Join me as I share the traits of these inspiring women.
