Description

My intent with this weekly podcast is to bring you some thoughts and ideas to keep you on your journey to live a fully productive, vibrant and joyful life. After all, that’s what we are all seeking.  If I can make a difference for you then I am one happy wisdom warrior.

Today is Memorial Day. A day that we honor our fallen heroes, those that served our country and made the biggest sacrifice, allowing us to enjoy the freedom we have.

Did you know, each year on Memorial Day a national moment of remembrance takes place at 3:00 p.m. local time.

Today when the clock strikes 3:00pm local time, take a minute in silence to remember and thank those that we have lost in service.

Here we are at the end of May.  That means we are entering the final month of the first half of 2022.  How are you feeling about your accomplishments so far?  If you are on target, I am giving you a standing ovation right now!  I am celebrating you for sticking to your plan.

I realize that sticking to your plan day after day after day gets boring and tiresome.  I know it’s not easy.  It’s something I struggle with every day too. I see the sun is shining, and the beach is calling me.  I hear the sound of children playing in the park mid-week as schools are out for summer break.

Sometimes it takes you back to the carefree days of your childhood when summer was so freeing and, it still can be that way.  We just have to plan for it.

When June rolls around, we all get a little ho-hum about our goals so before the summer doldrums kick in, let’s talk about a model that you can use today to gear up to charge into the second half of the year with gusto.

I use this model frequently so get out a piece of paper because this is a working session. Jot down a few notes so you can go back and review.  And, you can always listen to this podcast over and over in case you are not in a position to take notes right now.

Then share it with others and use it with your kids, family and team members or colleagues.

Before we begin, the first thing we need to do is look back and assess where we have been year to date.  Why?  Because if you don’t know where you have been, how can you determine where you are going, or where you want to go. We are looking at the gap.

Take a few minutes and review your calendar and the major projects you were working on the first half of the year.  Rate yourself on a scale of 1-10.  No judgement here.  This is for your eyes only.  You can do this for all the major categories….health, finances, relationships, business, hobbies, and spiritual.

Listen in for the framework to grow in all areas.
