The motto for the 1995 Steelers was “three more yards” based on the disappointing way that the previous season had ended. It was a season full of big moments and memorable games that resulted in a trip to Super Bowl XXX. And while the Steelers literally got those three yards, their championship dreams ultimately vanished into the arms of Larry Brown.
